I was skeptical at first. My wife more so than me. We have now used a Water-to-Go bottle each daily for 3 months, filling up from taps everywhere in China, Vietnam, Bali, Philippines and no upset tummy so far touch wood. I no longer have to think “is water safe to drink in this country?” The bottle and replacement filters have easily paid for themselves from us not needing to buy plastic water bottles even if they are super cheap. Next stop, India!
Having the reassurance that I will never run out of water on a hike is priceless! My Water-to-Go bottle means I can refill from any stream, puddle, or lake along the way, saving water weight, and single use plastic bottles. Plus – drinking from waterfalls is always a fun adventure!
Just toured Rwanda. Without my Water-To-Go bottle, I would have been using bottled water for the three week trip and, given the countrys minimal recycling facilities, leaving a trail of plastic in my wake. As it was, I could confidently fill up from any water source – to the horror of locals, who I had to explain the filter to. Here I am enjoying some clean water beside the beautiful Lake Kivu.
Kot popotniku in staršu mi steklenice Water-to-Go podarjajo mir.
The amount of plastic I see while travelling is shocking. Bali was probably the most heartbreaking…Every tourist has an opportunity either to add to this disaster or try to leave less impact… I have used my Water-to-go bottle from Asia to Africa which allows me to drink tap water safely. Simply during this trip, I reduced my water bottle consumption by at least 70%. Next goal-100%…
This amazing filtered water bottle from Water-to-Go is my new passion! It guaranteed me clean water when travelling through India! I had the luck of staying in nice hotels that gave us drinkable water, but it’s not always like that, right? It filters 99,9% of all contaminants in freshwater (don’t use it for ocean water!), so you can bring it on your trekking adventures!
The Water-to-Go filtration bottle is a must have for any adventurer or traveller that often finds themselves exploring off the beaten track. As an extreme adventurer, I often find myself in environments that are remote and complex and I rely on nature as my main source of rehydration. I am delighted to be working with Water-to-Go and to be able to drink water where you are certain of the quality by filtering it yourself, help reduce plastic waste and have a better impact on the environment is fundamental to long term sustainability on this planet.
My Water-to-Go filter bottle has been put through its paces. In the heat of the Mekong Delta and at Angkor Wat it has saved me using at least 90 single-use plastic water bottles in 6 weeks, just from hotel rooms, plus countless bottles whilst out on location in Myanmar and Cambodia. Safe drinking water from any non-saltwater source has kept me hydrated and most importantly meant me cutting out single-use plastic bottles. Single-use plastic bottles take three times as much water to produce than they can actually hold. This means that three litres of water is needed to make a water bottle that only holds one litre.
I have been using my wonderful Water-to-Go bottle for three years now, and I love it. I have filled it from glacial rivers in Tajikistan, waterfalls in the farthest corners of the eastern Himalayas, lip-curlingly grotty taps in India, Pamiri puddles, Georgian springs and countless other ponds, lakes, puddles, taps and springs across Asia and South America. It has saved me using hundreds of plastic water bottles and allowed me to travel to the remotest places without having to lug around litres of bottled water. Not once have I become ill whilst using it. And all I have to do is change the filter every three months or so. I cannot stress how brilliant this ingenious bit of kit is: if every traveller had one, imagine how much plastic would be saved.
Whilst living plastic free is not an easy task, reducing is something we can all do. I came across Water-to-Go who have been a driving force in this space a for a while now! Their bottles, have a filtration system that ensures 99.9% of bacteria is removed from the water you drink. This is a game changer to reduce plastic when you are on the go, but also when out of the UK. I often get asked what bottles I use, and as many people do not like drinking just tap water my top recommendation is always Water-to-Go!
Odločil sem se za izdelek, ki sem ga videl in o katerem sem največ slišal: Water-to-Go. Zdaj uporabljam svojo steklenico s filtrom vsak dan.
Despite the Breakfast Beers consumed, we did actually stay hydrated on our ski trip. Handily, I had my Water-to-Go bottle (complete with filter) which, yes, I did fill with snow and live to tell the tale! It’s a handy little bottle to have while travelling, knowing that even if I’m ever unsure, I can still drink from the tap – or in this case slopes. (It’s been very handy in airports as well)!
